Vineela & Ananth contacted me for an anniversary session to celebrate their one year anniversary. I was so excited to provide that for them and meet them! We met up at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City. The weather was kind of unpredictable the day we met, so we had the whole place to ourselves. If you’ve ever been to the memorial, you know that usually never happens! The wind was blowing fiercely, but I used it to my advantage to get some awesome movement shots with Vineela’s hair and dress.

They both were so much fun to work with, and listened to my weird ideas without question! It feels so amazing when clients come to me because they love my style and put their full trust in me to do my thing. While talking with them, I learned they weren’t really happy with the photos they received from their wedding photographer, so I was even more honored to be able to take these photos for them to cherish forever.

After a while of shooting, it started to get a little chilly, so I suggested we go to a local coffee shop to take a break and warm up a little. Afterwards, I took some more photos of them outside on the patio while we sat and drank our coffee and got to know each other even more. I am so thankful that my job introduces me to so many different, unique, and amazing people. Walking away from a session feeling like I’ve made new friends is so gratifying and gives me life. I know now, more than ever, that this is the path that I am supposed to be on. I look forward to all the incredible people I have yet to meet through this journey!
