One of my best friends from high school, Emily, is getting married in November! Woo! Plus, I get to photograph the wedding! Shedding all the tears over here. We celebrated her bachelorette party at her parents cabin home on a lake in Minnesota. We got our high school girl squad together, which doesn’t happen often, and had a blast all Saturday. Our day started with mimosas (duh!) in the morning, and it just got better from there. The weather was perfect, so we spent a good chunk of the day outside in the pool and the hot tub. Emily had the perfect diamond ring floaty for herself, and our friend Hannah brought a beer pong floaty!
Later in the afternoon after lunch, where we perused old high school yearbooks, we were all pretty toasted and may have had a little bit too much fun hanging out in the hot tub. (Cue all the silly shenanigans with the penis straws…) Once it got dark we headed back inside for some more obligatory bachelorette party photos before dinner. The fun continued after dinner with Emily opening her gifts, and then we played Telestrations, which is always a blast when everyone’s had a few drinks!
Overall this whole day was so amazing, and I was so happy to bring my camera along to capture all the memories. Most of the photos are for our eyes only, but here’s a couple I wanted to share! If you’ve thought about having your bachelorette party photographed, DO IT. I would love to capture all of these memories for you, especially since you might not remember all the details! 😉 These photos were so much fun to capture, and even more fun to look back on after the fact.
