I was inspired to practice my product photography one day, so I took a look around my surroundings and decided to use this awesome wine bottle shaped like a cat that I had in my room as decoration. After that this whole idea just sort of fell into place! I already had a pink background that would work perfectly, and cat toys were already littered all over the floor. I combined everything I already had access to (including my cats!) and created this fun masterpiece!

I originally sketched out my ideas that I wanted to accomplish, and then got to work. I first experimented with different lighting on just the bottle until I landed on something I liked. I then took photos of the bottle by itself in different spots on the background and combined them all together in Photoshop to achieve the fun pattern on the second picture. Next, I went wild with the cat toys and scattered them all around the bottle to create a fun dynamic. At this point, I thought, “How awesome would it be to show a cat paw reaching for the bottle?” and I decided to make it happen! I put the pink background onto the floor, enticed my cats to come lay on it, and got them to reach for a toy that I was using to play with them while I photographed them from above. I took one of those photos, overlaid their paw onto the photo of the bottle, and voila!

Wine so good even cats want it! Or maybe it’s just wine meant for cats? We’ll never know. Enjoy!
