I am so excited to share this session with everyone! Cassie & Drew already win the cutest couple award, but now we’ve added in their cat Kevin! Kevin is the sweetest cat ever. Literally. When I walk in the door, he’ll run up to me, wiggle his butt, and then jump straight into my arms purring. He does this with anyone he considers a friend! What a strange cat. This is why cats are the best.
Cassie’s home is also so cute! She has great style, and sure knows how to make a house feel cozy and personable. We brought this awesome modern couch from her home office down into her living room, and she had all of the wall decorations up already. We just added the lights and sheer material to the staircase, and voila, a perfect in-home studio!
I had so much fun during this session, and utilizing the staircase, I got to experiment with fun and different angles that I’ve always wanted to try. Also, one of the best perks of an in-home session is that it literally takes place in your home, the one place that you’re the most comfortable! Cassie & Drew were able to just be themselves, without the weird feeling of being out in public where other people can witness the photo shoot happening. They were definitely not afraid to get close and cuddly, and I was able to capture some pretty intimate moments that truly show their connection to each other. More of this please! More cuddles, more intimate moments, more being real, more tickle fights, more thumb wars, more of capturing lifes genuine moments.
